Medicinal plants in cosmetology

Medicinal plants have long been used in folk cosmetics in the form of poultices, compresses, masks, wash.

The most popular at all times such plants as chamomile, celandine, nettle, St. John’s wort, rose, ginseng. In modern cosmetics creams and lotions are made on the basis of plant extracts, berry and fruit juices, natural vegetable and animal fats.

When using medicinal herbs for cosmetic purposes, it is necessary to consider what effect these or other plants.

Inflammation aloe,marshmallow,gronant,elecampane,St. John’s wort,marigolds,strawberries,chamomile,

turnips,Rowan,Daisy,currant,cabbage,pumpkin,burdock and many others.
